After attending the North event back in July, DWV has now completed its CarFest road trip after the southern leg of the event drew to a close this past weekend in sunny Basingstoke.
CarFest, created by British media personality and car enthusiast Chris Evans, gave DWV a platform to showcase its capabilities as a well renowned mobile repair specialist, with over 150,000 visitors in total over the two weekends. The family-friendly festival brings people of all ages through the gates and is considered to be one of the highlights of the automotive calendar.
DWV, located in the Car Lifestyle section over the Bank Holiday weekend, welcomed all visitors to view their demonstrations held by skilled technicians, which once again proved to be a popular attraction. As it was with the northern leg, many “petrol heads” took a shine to DWV in Basingstoke, as well as families, who all wanted to find out more about our services and how we can offer it on a nationwide basis.
Each visitor to the stand was given the opportunity to receive a discount code on repairs, with nearly 600 entrants over the three days entering DWV’s competition – a chance to win a car detailing kit worth over £100!
DWV would like to congratulate each of the winners – Ben Gilbert Pocock, Sam Figgess and Joseph Vowels – who have now been contacted. We would also like to thank everyone who entered, and those who took time to visit our stand and engage with the team.
At the end of the busy schedule, DWV representatives found themselves packing away the stands to the joyful tune of 5, 6, 7, 8 by pop group Steps, who were performing as one of the festival’s headline groups on the Sunday evening. The only numbers DWV was focussed on throughout the event were our 4.8 Trustpilot rating, and the fact that we completed over 170,000 repairs in 2021!
DWV Franchise Manager Steve Bramley said: “We were lucky to have three days of beautiful weather at CarFest South, so not only have we promoted all things DWV, but we have topped up our tans as well!
“Over the weekend we managed to distribute over 2,000 sponges, 1,800 trolley tokens and 1,700 packs of screen wash tablets, all branded up by DWV. These will continue to spread the word and the brand around the country, and remember, no matter whether you are at home or at work, DWV will come to you anywhere in the UK!”
