Chris Wood

Managing Director

With 30 years of experience in the motor dealer/insurance/repair sector, Chris was one of the first pioneers of SMART/cosmetic/alloy wheel repair insurance products in the UK. With a strong knowledge of the business, market sector and a passion for success, Chris is committed to leading DWV on a continued journey of growth whilst delivering exceptional customer and client service, and to maintain DWV’s position as the first choice for vehicle SMART/cosmetic/alloy repair in the UK.

Ross Proudfoot

General Manager – Insurance & Retail

Ross has 25 years of experience in automotive bodywork repair. He first learnt his trade by working for 18 years in a traditional body shop, before spending 7 years on the road as one of DWV’s best SMART repair technicians. Through his hard work and focus on delivering an excellent service, Ross was promoted to the role of Regional Manager and then to his current position as General Manager.

Steve Bramley

Franchise Manager

Steve has over 20 years of experience in the franchising industry, in both B2B and B2C. Holding a QFP qualification, his previous experience includes being Regional Chair and Board of the BFA. Other experience includes audit and compliance, recruitment and business development. Prior to joining DWV, he was also a Claims Handling Manager, Call Centre Manager and Franchise Director.

Colin Weir

General Manager – Remarketing

Colin has worked in the automotive industry since an early age, gaining a broad range of experience in both technical and sales. Colin joined DWV in 2001 as a PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) technician, servicing motor dealers, retail customers, remarketing companies and manufacturers in the UK and Europe. In 2012, Colin took the helm of our remarketing division and is focused on improving the quality and efficiency of SMART repair in fast flow remarketing environments, where volumes are high and time critical.

Alex Stewart

Operations Manager

Working with the planning and customer service team, Alex’s focus is to guarantee efficient planning and overall performance of the company by consistently adopting new methods, and upgrading processes to help achieve the best possible end-to-end journey for a customer. Holding a BSc degree in Business Information Systems, Alex’s previous experience and qualifications include data analytical experience in various fields, knowledge of computer systems, usage, design and implementation.

Wasim Sattar

Commercial Financial Controller

Wasim has over 10 years’ experience working in a broad range of finance roles across multiple industries, including events management, industrial services, construction, manufacturing and the arts and entertainment sectors. Wasim is responsible for heading up DWV’s finance function, while providing operational support across other departments. Wasim is fully ACCA qualified.

Jack Dickinson

Technical Training and Support Manager

With over 20 years of experience with in the vehicle repair industry, Jack brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Jack is a level 3 qualified paint sprayer and panel beater, with extensive experience in restoration body shops, insurance body shops and SMART repairs. Jacks understanding and eagerness to implement modern, up to date training techniques and modern health and safety ideas, will undoubtably help us stay at the forefront of our industry. Jack will also provide valuable support to our SMART repair technicians in resolving and technical issues that they may encounter.
