DWV is proud to be exhibiting at the upcoming Ford RS Owners Club Day, held at Donington Park Circuit, East Midlands on 19th August.
This Saturday event is sure to be a calendar highlight for motor enthusiasts, and at DWV, we will be bringing unmissable offers, a prize draw and freebies for visitors to our stand!
Established in 1980 by a group of enthusiasts, the Ford RS Owners Club is an International Car Club catering for all RS models that have been manufactured by Ford since 1968. With approximately 4,000 members, the club is run by members, for members, with a strong committee of dedicated enthusiasts.
To be a member, you don’t even need to necessarily own an RS vehicle, as the RS Owners Club is all about enthusiasts!
For those keen to test out their cars, Track Time gives drivers a period during the day to hone their skills for competitive action, as well as the more novice drivers trying to improve their standards on an internationally recognised track.
There will also be displays from the local group, as well as both the RS Concours and Non-RS Concours competitions, the standard of which is said to be one of the highest in the UK. As a brand-new attraction for 2023, there will be a Members Car Display for those who aren’t part of a local group, but are members of the club. There will also be a Show’n’Shine Competition open to both members and non-members alike, as well as an expanded Concours competition.
Cars from the anniversary display stands will also have the opportunity to parade their cars around the race circuit, which include the following models:
To find our exhibition stand, look out for the DWV flags! We will have a mobile repair workshop on display, which visitors are encouraged to look around so that they can learn more about the equipment DWV’s mobile technicians use for their jobs.
