DWV has recently returned from CarFest North with a spring in its step! Held at Bolesworth Estate in Chester, even the typical northern weather couldn’t dampen the team’s spirits over what was a fun, but also busy weekend.
CarFest, created by British media personality and car enthusiast Chris Evans, is an excellent opportunity for DWV to showcase its capabilities as a well renowned mobile repair specialist, with over 150,000 visitors over two weekends. The family-friendly festival brings people of all ages through the gates and is considered to be one of the highlights of the automotive calendar.
The DWV stand, located in the Car Lifestyle section, gave visitors and car enthusiasts the opportunity to discover just how well equipped DWV’s mobile technicians really are for their jobs, with technician demonstrations proving to be a popular attraction for visitors to our stand. Many visitors were interested in the entire DWV process, with some of the so-called “petrol heads” requesting full technical details, while others were simply taken aback at what DWV can do on a nationwide basis.
DWV Franchise Manager Steve Bramley said: “Exhibiting at CarFest is a wonderful opportunity. Over the weekend we met some great people, had some interesting discussions and we got to spread the word about the DWV brand.
“Despite the weather, the event was a success and it helped put us in touch with car clubs, as well as colleges who wanted to know more about cosmetic repairs. There were also some independent prestigious dealerships who we had some very interesting conversations with. Now we can’t wait for CarFest South next month in Basingstoke – the van is already packed and the marquee dried out!”
