DWV is proud to have been part of another successful event in the form of Ford RS Owners Club Day, which was held on Saturday 19th August at Donington Park Circuit, East Midlands.
The event is held by the Ford RS Owners Club, an International Car Club catering for all RS models that have been manufactured by Ford since 1968. In total there are approximately 4,000 members, and to join you don’t necessarily need to own an RS model – you just need to have an enthusiasm for the car!
With an occasion attended by hundreds of passionate motorists, it was the ideal opportunity for us to promote our range of national mobile vehicle repair services.
On a sunny but slightly windy day, DWV’s flying flags were able to catch the attention of plenty of visitors; the stand hosted people from all around the country who wanted to look over our mobile repair workshops. This consisted of a standard wheel and paint repair van, and a diamond cut lathe van which would allow for diamond cut wheels to be recut at a location of the customer’s choice.
Being able to give consumers a first-hand insight into the nationwide mobile services we offer was a fantastic opportunity. A DWV technician was present on the stand to deliver demonstrations of our latest state-of-the-art diamond cut lathe machine, which is used for reskimming diamond cut wheels.
There were also 70 entries into our special prize draw, where the lucky victor would receive a car detailing kit worth over £100. The winner was Nick from West Yorkshire, who has now been contacted and will be receiving his prize very soon! The DWV “stress vans” also proved to be very popular with visitors (we can assure you the stress was not caused by DWV!).
