We feel it is useful to give you some background on the industry. This will give you some knowledge before you start with DWV.

  • There are over 34 million cars on UK roads. Market research indicates that over half of them have damage on them that could be rectified by SMART repairers*
  • The potential market is therefore huge. Coupled with the growth in PCP/monthly subscription (lease) cars, the opportunities are there – nationwide
  • At DWV, we are able to offer a nationwide network of repairers who come to the customer’s home, place of work or dealership and carry out the repairs at their convenience. This reduces stress, hassle and downtime with their vehicle, as well as often saving customers considerable amounts of money had they gone to a bodyshop and been without their car for some time
  • Nationally, we attend various automotive events throughout the year to promote our services to specific decision makers
  • Locally, you are expected and encouraged to do the same. We offer a Matched Funding programme which is easy to understand – you carry out any localised marketing to promote your business, and the DWV brand we will fund 50% of it!
  • In addition to the above, a marketing levy is paid monthly by the franchisee, which is reserved for national and local marketing activities – again, to promote the brand
  • The spend of such money is discussed directly with our Franchise Forum, who are representatives of the network and are volunteers from the Network.
