Open Days

A change of career or direction and becoming self-employed is a big step – we want to make sure it is right for you and ourselves.

This is why we believe it is important that we meet potential franchisees face to face at our Open Days so that we can discuss in detail your particular position and situation to ensure that we have sufficient time together for you to ask any questions you want. We appreciate it is a big decision and it has to be the right one for both parties.

Below are some points on our Open Days to give you a taste of what to expect.

  • Our Open Days are informal and are centred around you – it is your day to ask questions, voice any concerns, and get clarity on any points you have
  • There is a structure to them, but we will take as long as is necessary on each topic to ensure you fully understand and are comfortable with the information being shared
  • At our Open Days, we operate on a one-to-one basis as it is important that our attention is 100% on you, and that you are able to confidently share any concerns or fears you may have. Going forward a franchisee/franchisor relationship should be transparent and open and honest and that is where we want our starting point of your journey to be
  • There is no commitment at any stage of the discussion and no pressure – we are looking for a long-term relationship with a hungry, proactive potential franchisee, not someone who demands work being fed to them
  • You will not be required to commit to anything at this point, and no monies will be taken – should you want to go further with your interest then we will progress your application at a speed that you are comfortable with
  • Our Open Days are the ideal opportunity to meet the team at our Head Office in Leeds, and the departments who help you to grow a successful and profitable business
  • Further into our process there will be a presentation to the Directors prior to consideration being given to agree to award the Franchise Licence to you
  • It is a great opportunity to ask all the questions and more about DWV and the network. We would be more concerned if you just read the information on the website and said “yes please, I want in!”
